This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the terms for cancellations and refunds of software development services provided by Ideal IT Techno Pvt. Ltd. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Definitions

  • Client: The individual or organization receiving the software development services.

  • Project: The specific software development service provided to the client, as outlined in the service agreement.

  • Milestone: A defined phase of the project, typically associated with a specific deliverable and payment schedule.

  • Service Agreement: The contract between Ideal IT Techno Pvt. Ltd. and the client detailing the scope, deliverables, and payment terms.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Project-Based Development

  • Client-Initiated Cancellation
    • Before Project Start : Clients may cancel project-based services by providing written notice to Ideal IT Techno at least 7 days before the project start date. If the cancellation is made within 7 days of the start date, a cancellation fee of 10 % of the total project cost will apply.

    • After Project Start: If the project is already in progress, clients may cancel by providing written notice. Clients will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus a cancellation fee of 10 % of the remaining project cost.

  • Company-Initiated Cancellation:
    • Ideal IT Techno reserves the right to cancel a project at any time due to reasons such as unforeseen circumstances, client non-compliance, or other significant issues. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of any prepaid amounts for work not completed.

3.2. Milestone-Based Development

  • Client-Initiated Cancellation: Clients may cancel milestone-based development services by providing written notice before the next milestone payment is due. No refunds will be issued for completed milestones.

  • Company-Initiated Cancellation : If Ideal IT Techno needs to cancel a milestone-based project, clients will be notified, and a prorated refund for incomplete milestones will be provided.

4. Refund Policy

4.1. Project-Based Development:

  • Refunds for project-based development services will be considered based on the percentage of work completed. If Ideal IT Techno fails to deliver the agreed-upon services, a partial or full refund may be issued.

4.2. Milestone-Based Development:

  • Refunds for milestone-based development services will not be issued for completed milestones. Refunds will only be provided for incomplete milestones if the project is canceled by Ideal IT Techno.

5. Process for Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. Initiating a Cancellation or Refund Request:

  • Clients must contact Ideal IT Techno via [contact method, e.g., email, phone] to initiate a cancellation or request a refund. The request should include:

    • Client's name

    • Contact information

    • Project details

    • Reason for the cancellation or refund request

5.2. Review and Approval:

  • Ideal IT Techno will acknowledge receipt of the cancellation or refund request within 2 business days.

  • The request will be reviewed, and additional information may be requested if necessary.

  • Clients will receive a response within 2 business days of submitting all required information.

5.3. Processing Refunds:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 2 business days of approval.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Clients will receive a confirmation once the refund has been processed.

6. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable:

  • Consultation Fees: Fees for initial consultations or assessments.

  • Custom Software Development: Custom projects requiring significant upfront resources, unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.

  • Expedited Services: Fees for expedited or rush services.

7. Exceptions

  • Force Majeure: No refunds will be issued for delays or cancellations due to events outside of Ideal IT Techno control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other emergencies.

  • Non-Compliance: Refunds will not be issued if the client fails to comply with the terms of the service agreement, including payment terms and providing necessary information or resources.
